Spiaggia di Punta Asparano, about 15 km from Syracuse, is one of the wildest and most unspoilt corners of the coast. It has a series of rocky coves and free beaches that alternate for a kilometre, washed by a crystal-clear sea and surrounded by Mediterranean scrub. The posidonia meadow that reaches all the way to the coast is very suggestive.
