Among the limestone cliffs and rocky coastline of beautiful Sorrento, there is a fantastic natural pool, better known as ‘I Bagni della Regina Giovanna’. With its transparent and uncontaminated seabed, it is the ideal place for those who want to relax in contact with the environment. The most evocative point is certainly the stone arch leading directly to the characteristic cove. This heavenly oasis owes its name to the Queen of Naples Joan of Anjou, where – according to a well-known legend – she used to meet her lovers. But this site is also very interesting from an archaeological point of view: taking the route to Punta del Capo, you can reach Villa Pollio Felice (home of the important Roman historian) mentioned by Stazio and Horace.
