Ristorante Il Monastero, located within the ancient Aragonese Castle, offers cuisine in line with the hotel’s ‘philosophy’: respect for tradition, strictly genuine food, and great emphasis on flavour and lightness of dishes.
The organic vegetable garden, orchard and vineyard of the Castle are the “market”, where only the best products are selected by the brigade. Fishermen of Ischia, who sell their catch every day at Ischia Ponte, just below the Castle, supply the restaurant kitchen with fresh fish and tasty seafood. Everything else – meat, oil, pasta, dairy products – is purchased by the best producers in Campania, in a constant search for quality and taste.
