Trattoria Il Focolare, on the wooded Cretaio hill, is known to islanders for its meat specialities. Il Focolare is a Slow Food Presidium where you can taste the traditional cave rabbit, Zampognari beans, a type of bean that only grows in Ischia, Ischia’s caponata, vegetables and aromas of our gardens, and local wild herbs. Local wines and craft beers will always be on the table.
