Al Fondaco del Conte is a trattoria with an intimate and familiar atmosphere in Palermo’s historic Albergheria district, near the Ballarò market.
The restaurant is located in a former fondaco, an old meeting and refreshment point for carters. House specialities include: aubergine caponata, primosale, grouper ravioli in shrimp sauce, pasta with sardines, meat bites ‘alla fondaco del conte’, swordfish stew ‘alla pantesca’ and swordfish rolls with citrus fruits.
