Palazzo Corvaja

Palazzo Corvaja is a beautiful aristocratic villa in the centre of Taormina, on the ancient Roman forum. The original core was formed by a cubic Arab tower dating back to early 902 AD. Palazzo Corvaja is also famous because the Sicilian Parliament met here. The main characteristic of Palazzo Corvaja is the stylistic puzzle that makes its architecture unique. Today, it houses the Sicilian Museum of Art and Popular Traditions, as well as many other events and exhibitions by great artists.
