Oasis of Morigerati Caves

The Oasis of Morigerati Caves covers an area of 607 hectares, created in 1985 and protected by the WWF with the aim of preserving and defending the territory and its biodiversity. The area has nature trails and equipped areas for visiting the beautiful caves; work, study and research camps, guided tours and green weeks are organised here. The Bussento river flows within the oasis. In the waterways, it is possible to spot otters and salamanders, as well as the short-toed eagle, a rare large bird of prey.
