134.70 hectares teeming with Mediterranean scrub. The nature reserve Macchia Foresta del Fiume Irminio includes the areas of Ragusa and Scicli. Corridors of willows, poplars and eucalyptus trees inhabit the entire area, while the sea side is rich in agaves and fragrant thyme. In terms of fauna, on the other hand, there are various animal species: lizards, foxes, nutria, cormorants and wild rabbits live peacefully in this fascinating green mirror with blue reflections.
