Naples’ promenade is undoubtedly the most beautiful waterfront in the world. Vesuvius, Capri, Castel dell’Ovo and Posillipo, with its sparkling lights, decorate the promenade of Via Partenope, Via Caracciolo and Mergellina. Many fine restaurants, pizzerias, bars and clubs dot the seafront street, which in summer turns into a romantic open-air milonga at the Vanilla Café. The seafront promenade has a cycle path.
