Casamicciola Terme has been internationally renowned since the 19th century for its miraculous thermal springs located in the Castiglione, Piazza Bagni and La Rita areas. Casamicciola is indeed the heart of Ischia’s thermalism. It was here that thermal therapy began in Italy. This municipality is home to one of the island’s many spa parks, the amazing Castiglione Park, surrounded by rich and lush Mediterranean vegetation. Casamicciola Terme is also home to one of Ischia’s most famous luxury hotels: Hotel Terme Manzi in Piazza Bagni.
Marina di Casamicciola, with its marina and small corso is a nice, quiet place where you can enjoy a stroll along the seafront whilst fantasising about the various yachts moored along the quay, a chat in the small square embellished with a lively fountain, an aperitif or coffee at Bar Calise.
