The Junno district is the oldest in Monte Sant’Angelo and began to develop in the 6th century, right next to the famous Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo. The urban core dates back to the late 10th century and is characterised by typical medieval architecture, with beautiful white houses with double-pitched roofs.
