The true symbol of Capri are the Faraglioni, three imposing and striking geological formations located along the island’s southern coastline. The first is called Stella. It is 109 metres high and is joined to the coast; the second, called “Di mezzo”, is 81 metres high and has a natural tunnel that allows small boats to cross it; the third, Scopolo, is 104 metres high. Its main feature is the presence of a rare protected specimen: the blue lizard. A fourth, larger Faraglione, known as Monacone, is located further away, opposite Tragara’s harbour.
