Lipari is the largest of the seven islands in the Aeolian Archipelago.
Lipari is nature, sea, art and history.
Its beaches range from black to the shining white of Acquacalda and Spiaggia Bianca, probably the most beautiful on the island; its coastline is rich in caves, inlets and stacks. Nature indulges in the many colours and scents of the Mediterranean maquis, including broom, heather, rosemary, myrtle, oleander and capers.
Lipari also stands out for its Castle, with the important Regional Aeolian Archaeological Museum, the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo, many other churches, the Norman Cloister and the Archaeological Park.
