D’Ambra Winery

Casa D’ambra vinifies and bottles Biancolella, Forastera and Per’ e’ Palummo grapes. Their vineyards are in the island’s most renowned wine-growing areas.

D’Ambra Winery was founded in 1863 by a family of local winegrowers. The founder was Francesco D’ambra, known as Don Ciccio, who began offering Ischian wine in the market of turn-of-the-century Naples. Over the years, the family tradition has been carried on by his children and grandchildren until the property passed to oenologist Andrea D’Ambra.

Casa D’ambra vinifies and bottles Biancolella, Forastera and Per’ e’ Palummo grapes. Their vineyards are in the island’s most renowned wine-growing areas. Grapes come from around 150 Ischitan winemakers, as well as from several hectares of its own property in the Montecorvo and Frassitelli areas.
