Built around 1760, Palazzo Ducezio is now home to Noto’s Town Hall. Its most important hall, which is also a faithful reflection of the entire city, is undoubtedly “La Sala degli Specchi” (The Hall of Mirrors). Ducezio, king of Siculians, portrayed here in a 1826 painting by Antonimo Mazza. On the walls, you can see a telegram from Giuseppe Garibaldi, the Father of the Homeland, as well as some inscriptions about the city’s splendour.
