Ristorante Filippino, established in 1910, is a historic restaurant in Lipari and throughout the Aeolian Islands, now run by Filippo’s descendants. You will find it in Piazza del Municipio. Consisting of two indoor dining rooms and a large air-conditioned terrace, it stands out for the quality of its food, its attention to customers and welcoming ambience. It offers local and regional cuisine mainly based on fish and local ingredients. The wine list offers more than one hundred labels and a rich selection of grappas. House specialities include: redfish “alla liparota”, fresh tuna tartare “alla filippino”, black risotto with cuttlefish and baby squid, orange, lemon and smoked swordfish salad with a scent of capers, imperial sea bream escalope with citrus salt and marinated shrimps.
