The Cathedral of Sorrento, dedicated to the Saints Filippo and Giacomo, was built around the 11th century. The façade was completely covered with marble bricks around the 1920s, in imitation of Romanesque churches. The interior preserves various works of art from different periods and movements and precious frescoes by Neapolitan painters.
