Rich in stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes, Castelcivita Caves are a must-see for primitive nature and adventure lovers. Only 1,700 metres are accessible to visitors, who will be fascinated by the wild landscape that brings the mind back to prehistoric times. The caves are open daily. Three routes are available: the tourist route (1200 metres long), open all year round, the amateur speleological route (3000 metres long), only available from June to October, and the speleological route, which is reserved for speleologists only.
