The Valle delle Orchidee, in the Cilento National Park, covers 47 square kilometres. Along a 13 km route, visitors will be able to see the many wild orchid species that bloom spontaneously. In detail, those who make their way through this valley will be astounded by the presence of 184 orchid types, divided into 68 species, 57 subspecies, 35 varieties and 24 hybrids that dye the valley in many colours. Every year in May, the wild orchid is celebrated with folklore events, tastings of typical products and musical events.
