Pizzeria Pietra Azzurra, in Caselle, has been open since 1997 and is branded ‘Verace Pizza Napoletana Stg’. Owner and pizzaiolo Michele Croccia, a master of the Italian Pizzaioli School, is famous for preparing excellent pizzas. Here are just a few not to be missed: Tartufata, with cherry tomatoes, porcini, buffalo, basil and truffle; Cilentana, with tomato sauce, fiordilatte, goat’s cheese and basil; Verace, with cherry tomatoes, buffalo and basil. Another speciality is the pistachio grilled pizza, which has quickly become the undisputed symbol of this fantastic pizzeria.
