This bread, made from selected flours and leavened naturally, is still produced today in the many regional variations throughout Italy and in a wide range of dietetic products. La Cubana is also famous for its fine Sicilian pastries, ranging from royal pastry cakes to ‘cassate’ and ‘cannoli’, almond cakes and ‘gelo di mellone’.

Don’t miss the cream puff fantasies and the famousĀ Fenicia: a layer of chocolate sponge cake topped with a delicious pistachio and white chocolate mousse. The gastronomy ranges from the famous ‘arancine’ to ‘panzerotti’, from rotisserie to rich cold dishes, meat and fish rolls and flans. Also worth tasting, both at lunch and dinner, are the pizzas, a perfect combination of local and international flavours, rigorously cooked in a wood-fired oven, and the home-made ice cream prepared without the addition of preservatives or colouring agents.
