It is known the world over for its Dome of Vietri majolica with Positano’s sunshine colours and its Mediterranean yellow and green vegetation. The present structure of the church, dating back to the 13th century, is from the 18th century. Inside, the building houses the wooden statue of the Black Madonna and Child and San Vito’s reliquary bust, one of the most important works of Neapolitan goldsmith art.
